Most "2b2t alternatives" pages are written by the server that wants your click. So is this one — but we put the whole table on the record, linked every competitor, and included the numbers that make us look small. We run eternel.eu, an anarchy server founded in 2026. Every other server below is older and, today, bigger than we are. Read the evidence, then decide.

2b2t launched in December 2010 and is the genre: the oldest and most famous anarchy server, a world that has never been reset — roughly 80 TB of scorched map — and more than a million unique players across its history (Wikipedia). Hacks are tolerated, spawn is a crater, and every war, dupe and betrayal becomes lore: a community wiki with 700+ articles, and YouTube historians like FitMC (~2.46 million subscribers) turning incidents into documentaries.

That fame has a price. The 2016 YouTube influx created the infamous queue, and it never really left; skipping it costs $23.99/month via the priority-queue subscription. 2b2t is also premium-only — no cracked or offline-mode accounts — and since late 2025 it publicly complies with Mojang/Microsoft community standards on chat, which purists read as the first crack in "no rules". It added Bedrock support in December 2025, but there is no way to play it from a browser.

Be clear about one thing: no server on this page has 2b2t's history, ours included. If what you want is the original map and its ghosts, join 2b2t and wait the queue out. The rest of this page is for everyone who wants the genre without the friction.

We can't compete with fifteen years of lore, so we didn't try. We attacked the two things the table exposes: friction and proof of life.

Friction: eternel.eu has no queue, accepts cracked and offline-mode accounts next to premium ones, and is the only anarchy server we know of where a full Java-compatible client boots straight in your browser — real 1.21 multiplayer on a real anarchy world, nothing installed, one click from this page to spawn.

Proof of life: every anarchy server asks you to take its word that the world is alive. We point a camera at ours instead. An autonomous spectator bot films the wasteland 24/7 on this site, follows fights on its own, and even lets you steer it — and the site chat feeds straight into the game, so you can talk to players before you ever join. 1. The queue is eating your evening

You have the game, you have the account, and you're position 200-something. Every other server in the table is queue-free: 6b6t is the biggest of them, 9b9t and Constantiam keep it classic. So do we — and you shouldn't pay $23.99/month just to find out whether you even like anarchy. Test the genre somewhere free to enter, then queue for the original if it hooks you.

2. You don't have a premium account

2b2t, 9b9t, 0b0t and Constantiam are premium-only. Your options are 6b6t or eternel.eu. On ours, any username walks in: register with a password in-game and you're done — launcher or browser, your choice.

3. You're on a machine you can't install anything on

School laptop, work machine, borrowed computer: no launcher is ever getting installed there. This is the scenario where the table only has one row left. Eaglercraft servers pioneered browser Minecraft, but on 1.8-era rewrites — eternel.eu runs the current version in a tab, connected to the same anarchy world as everyone else. If the hardware is weak, watch the live feed instead and steer the camera; that runs anywhere a video plays.
