The wasteland watches players. It has very little interest in you.
Analytics
This site measures itself with Umami, an open-source analytics tool we host ourselves on our own server in Europe. It is cookieless: no cookies, no consent banner, no advertising identifiers, no cross-site tracking. Visits are counted with a salted hash that rotates every day, so the system cannot recognise you from one day to the next — and we never see who you are. What we keep is aggregate only: pages viewed, buttons clicked, country-level location, browser family. It is retained for 12 months and is never shared or sold to anyone. The analytics script and its endpoint are served from this domain; no third party receives your visit.
Site chat
Site chat: the last ~1,000 chat lines (username + text + time) are stored to replay recent history; older lines are deleted automatically. Offensive terms are masked before storage. IP addresses are used transiently for rate-limiting and are never stored with messages. nginx access logs rotate after 30 days. To have a username's lines removed, email abuse@eternel.eu.
